Bobby Marquez Hosts Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree

Awarded Singer/Songwriter to Debut New Music Worldwide
on Historic Show
Bobby Marquez steps up to the historic circle at the Texas Troubadour Theatre to carry-on the legacy of his musical hero Ernest Tubb this Saturday as the host of the Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree. The show, now celebrating it's 71st anniversary year, kicks off at 10pm on June 30th in front of a live audience at the 450-seat theatre. Fans can also watch a live stream of country music's second longest running radio show at www.musiccitytelevision.com. The performance will be broadcast again at 12 midnight on 650 AM WSM and worldwide at www.wsmonline.com.

Marquez will debut his new music from his recently released album, "The Cowboy Way." The title track has already been awarded by the Academy of Western Artists and The CMA of Texas. Country Music People Magazine says about the album......Bobby Marquez nailed it.

"These songs are really personal to me and bring something for everyone....from inspirational to storytelling to swing and of course, honky tonk. Not to mention we have a huge surprise that may very well be a first for the legendary show! I can't wait for this weekend," shares Marquez.

Marquez hails from Texas, so he was raised on Ernest Tubb recordings. Bobby Marquez has gone on to blaze a trail of his own from the Texas Music Chart to worldwide success on television and radio. His songwriting continues to draw attention from notable stars. The new album includes duets with the legendary Johnny Rodriguez and the Queen of Bluegrass, Rhonda Vincent.

The evening will wind down with a meet and greet with photo and autograph opportunities. The public is invited to this historic event with free admission. Special guests Scott Southworth and Dana Romanello will also perform.

Marquez concludes, " I admire what Ernest Tubb stood for. His signature, 'Be Better To Your Neighbors and You'll Have Better Neighbors,' says it all for me."
