Newton & Thomas Hold #1 and #2 Spots on Bluegrass Today’s Top 20 Chart With a Total Of Five Songs

Nashville, Tenn. (June 3, 2013) – Pinecastle Records is proud to announce Mark Newton & Steve Thomas hold the #1 and #2 spots on the Bluegrass Today Weekly Top 20 chart with “Old McDonald Sold The Farm” and “The Key,” respectively. Three other songs from their new album REBORN also appear including #12 “Nobody’s Business,” #16 “Painted Lady,” and #18 “Far Far Cry.”  “Old McDonald Sold The Farm” also made its debut at #8 on the June Bluegrass Today Monthly Top 20.
 
Newton & Thomas and Pinecastle Records recently released their popular new music video of Old McDonald Sold The Farm that has certainly appealed to a wide range of viewers. The video is now available on the band’s youtube channel in a TV ready format and coming soon to many other outlets.
 
Newton & Thomas continue entertaining audiences at live shows performing their unique blend of music and alternating on lead vocals. This Thursday, they will appear at an autograph signing during the CMA Music Festival at Wheeling Jamboree Booth in the Nashville Convention Center at Noon, a performance at Layla’s Bluegrass Inn on Broadway at 1:50 pm, and Kimbro’s Café in Franklin that evening. Later that night, 12:00 midnight, they will appear on WSM Radio's All Nighter with Marcia Campbell. On Friday, catch Newton & Thomas at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
