Rich Price Named in Academy of Western Artists 2019 Nominations

Singer/songwriter Rich Price's decades of entertaining with his signature American west lyrics and stage suits are being honored by the Academy of Western Artists. Price is currently nominated in the 2019 Will Rogers Award categories of Western Male and Western Song ("Cowboy's Cowboy).

"What a wonderful organization. I had the honor of performing at the event last year and met so many great people," remembers Price.

Rich Price's song Cowboy's Cowboy was recorded with Nashville's A-team musicians. The single will be included on an upcoming album that will be released on Adonda Records Nashville.

Price has several projects underway. He is also featured in the upcoming major motion picture, "The Happy Worker" directed by Duwayne Dunham who is best known for his work on such blockbusters as 'Twin Peaks', 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' and 'Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back'

Rich Price will also be back to co-host another season of the popular family-friendly country music show, "Cheyenne Country." Filming is set for spring near Price's home at the foothills of Yosemite National Park.

AWA affiliated disc jockeys will vote on the final nominees in each category with winners announced March 14, 2019 in the Brown Lupton Ballroom in Fort Worth, Texas on the campus of Texas Christian University. The event is open to the public.
