A Lot Of Room To Talk
Jake Worthington

Hello!  I’m Camo, one of the hosts of Nashville Access. If you’re a fan of Honky Tonk country then you’re going to LOVE this weeks song of the week.  It’s brand new from Jake Worthington, called “A Lot Of Room To Talk.”  Now, if you’ve never heard of Jake, go back and check out all of his music.  He first appeared on The Voice here in the US several years ago—and didn’t make it past the blind auditions.  The panel liked his sound, but said he needed a lot of work.  Well, Jake took their advice and came back a few seasons ago—and ended up on Blake Shelton’s team.  That season, Jake Worthington made it to the finals.
I’ve loved this kid right from the beginning.  I knew he had something! Just about every song he sang on The Voice was really traditional, so when he came out of the tv show and released his first EP, it brought back the sound of Mark Chesnutt, George Jones, and just about every hard-core Honky Tonker that you can imagine.  We were lucky grab Jake when he came to Nashville last year, and we were the first ones to have him for a Nashville performance at CRS 2016.
“A Lot Of Room To Talk” could have been ripped out of the George Jones songbook, and it’s going to be another big song for this native of La Porte, Texas.  Jake delivers the song with all of the passion of someone who’s spent years on the painful side of life—but he’s only 20 years old!
Discover Jake Worthington.  Trust me.  If you Honky Tonk, you’ll LOVE Jake Worthington.
