Singer’s In The Air Single Continues Its Rise on New Music Weekly Charts
Singer-songwriter Eileen Carey picked up her third major honor of the year Wednesday night (Nov. 9) when she won the Producers Choice Award for Female Country Artist of the Year at the 25th annual Los Angeles Music Awards celebration. The red-carpet and star-spangled event was held at the Hard Rock Hollywood Café on Hollywood Boulevard.
Earlier this year, Carey—whose current single is “In The Air”—also won New Music Weekly’s Breakthrough Country Artist trophy and National Hits Radio Favorite Country Artist prize. Carey’s latest triumph followed her recent performance opening for The Nelsons to a standing-room-only crowd at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, California.
In The Air—the sparkling love fantasy Carey co-wrote—stands at No. 1 this week on New Music Weekly’s Country chart. And it continues its rise on NMW’s Hot AC/Top 40 rankings, moving last week to #2.
