Eileen Carey at the Canyon Club, in Agoura Hills, California, with Nelson, this Friday, Sept 16 and in the Studio, Recording with Producer Travis Allen Childress the follow up to In The Air.
Multi-multi award winning California Country – Pop singer-songwriter Eileen Carey is at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, California this coming Friday evening September 16, a popular venue in the suburbs of Los Angeles, opening for the platinum act Nelson. Gunnar and Matthew Nelson are the grandsons of the legendary family television stars Ozzie and Harriet; and therefore sons of the equally legendary Ricky Nelson, and television star Mark Harmon’s nephews. “Seriously, I am looking forward to seeing the headliner, Gunnar and Matthew. I really like their songs,” says Eileen.
Carey is currently in the process of recording her fifth career album with producer Travis Allen Childress, having just released the first single, “In The Air.” The charting In The Air, an inspirational ode to “love over hate,” is certainly to the pop side of Eileen’s country; but Carey is the first to tell you, her influences were often pop artists growing up, and are to this day. Bruno Mars is, in fact, her professed favorite artist this year!
Eileen Carey is unplugging at the Canyon Club, as she will October 11 at Matt Denny’s Songwriter Serenade Series in Arcadia, CA. “Helps you learn your own new songs,” Carey says. “I am in negotiation for a couple more shows before the end of the year as well.”
