Eileen Carey Releases Her Ode to “Love Being Stronger Than Hate”

Eileen Carey Releases Her Ode to “Love Being Stronger Than Hate” With New Release In the Air Exclusively Premiered TheBoot.com.

One of America’s favorite independent Country-Pop Artists, Eileen Carey, was as hot as a Fourth of July (American Independence Day) firecracker this past month, coming off a second award this year, the National Radio Hits Favorite Female Country Artist of the Year (2016). A nice surprise coming in the wake of her New Music Weekly Country Breakthrough Artist of the Year (2016) in February.

Her last single Bring on the big reached the #1 on both New Music Weekly’s Country Main Chart, and on its Hot AC Main Chart as well. In January, her Faith release also topped both charts. So when Eileen announced a recently recorded new single release In the Air, and an upcoming 5th album, anticipation was aroused. Partnered and premiered this past week (Monday, July 19) with TheBoot.com, In the Air has quickly moved into the NMW charts as expected. . It is Carey’s ode to “love being stronger than hate.”

The terrorist attacks in Paris in November of 2015, along with a then-recent visit to the city, inspired Carey to write “In the Air,” but the recent tragedies in Nice, France; Dallas, Texas; Orlando, Fla., and so many other areas of the world further prove how much we all need an inspirational message of hope and love such as “In the Air.”

“Paris is such a whirlwind of love, romance and excitement that the terrorist attacks there seemed personal to me, because I was just visiting the “City of Love” two weeks before them,” Eileen Carey says. “Being a songwriter it inspired me to write a love song for two people set in that gaiety that is still Paris, despite current events. A kind of victory for the spirit that is love. ”

Early this past June, Altadena, California resident, Carey was a major player in the CMA Fest in Nashville, where she partnered with the world famous honkytonk Tootsies to meet with her rapidly growing national and international fan base. Her two shows at Rippy’s were packed, and well received by the Country Music elite at the Festival. She also just appeared at the California State Fair in the state capitol, Sacramento, on the 20th of July, and on the 29th she will be appearing at the Orange County Fair for the fourth year in a row.

In September Carey will open for the Nelsons at the prestigious Canyon Club in the posh Agoura Hills, an upscale California community. It is a tribute to the fact that her music is crossing over to an ever-widening audience.

Carey, the Cleveland native, Altadena, California resident, is in the studio these days with her longtime producer Travis Allen Childress, of Nashville Tracks, located in Burbank, CA for irony. His hand in her career is responsible for Eileen’s ever broadening reach as an artist. “Travis doesn’t let me off easy,” Carey says, “He made me sing In the Air repeatedly till he was satisfied it was the best I could do.”

Her current recording efforts when released as an album, will be her fifth, the last two receiving 14 music nominations and six awards. Her previous record Movin on to her current hit album Let It Go won two Los Angeles Music Awards, and a South Bay Music Award as well.

Eileen Carey represents what is the best in Indie music today. She has refused to go unnoticed, so she has continually worked to match the label artists with equal quality music and recording. Her career is an example to other young women of the value of integrity and hard work. Carey is truly a working class hero; and a singer-songwriter that gives her fans what they ask for and deserve. Great music!
