Sister Hazel Makes Highest Country Album Debut Of The Week
"Lighter In The Dark" Comes In At #4 On Billboard Top Country Albums Chart


Nashville, TN, February 29, ’16….In their first showing on the country music charts, platinum-selling band, Sister Hazel, made a strong debut with “Lighter In The Dark” at #4 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, #6 on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart, #30 on Billboard's Top Current Albums chart and #79 on the Billboard 200 album chart. First week sales of the new CD were 8,352 units.
Sister Hazel just returned from a two-week media blitz during which they appeared on Voice of America’s “Border Crossings,” Sirius/XM’s “Road Dog Trucking,” “Sandyland” with Sandra Bernhard on “Radio Andy,” and “Downtown Julie Brown;” NASH FM, iHeart Radio, Fox News Radio, Fox Extra, and NBC's “Today” show. The first single from the new album, “That Kind of Beautiful,” written by Hillary Lindsey, Luke Laird and Gordie Sampson, was serviced to radio via Play MPE and is available for download through all digital outlets.
