Rhonda Vincent Wraps 2014 in Top 10 of Billboard

Rhonda Vincent Wraps 2014 in Top 10 of Billboard's Year End Bluegrass Albums Chart

Critically-Acclaimed #1 Album Only Me Nominated for Best Bluegrass Album at The 57th Grammys

Nashville, Tenn. (December 22, 2014) - The numbers are in, and "The New Queen of Bluegrass" Rhonda Vincent has finished in the top 10 of the Billboard Year End Charts for 2014 with her Grammy nominated album Only Me, which has remained on the Billboard Bluegrass Chart since its #1 debut. Billboard calculated the top Bluegrass Albums based on sales, ranking Only Me in the top 10.

This is a great way to close out a record setting year for Vincent. Since the release of Only Me earlier this year, Rhonda has reached the top spot on the national bluegrass airplay chart on two separate occasions. The lead single from the album "Busy City" was the first to do so, with the Willie Nelson duet title-track also hitting the top spot for the month of December. The album also contains a duet with frequent collaborator Daryle Singletary on the George Jones / Melba Montgomery duet classic "We Must Have Been Out Of Our Minds." Vincent also covered songs by Country Music Hall of Fame members Emmylou Harris ("Beneath Still Waters"), Bill Anderson ("Bright Lights and Country Music"), and Connie Smith ("Once A Day").

In addition to its' strong sales, Only Me has garnered some of the strongest ink of Vincent's career, with write-ups from such outlets as Country Weekly, All Music, Bluegrass Today, as well as Billboard. As is always the case with Rhonda Vincent, the Bluegrass queen has taken to the road in a major way to promote the release, boarding up on the Martha White Bluegrass Express for a busy slate of dates this year - a trend that will continue into 2015.
