Newton & Thomas to Host Pick & Stomp Concert Series at the Nashville Palace
Weekly Event to Include Authentic Barn Dance & Pickin’ Party

Nashville’s Mark Newton & Steve Thomas will host the new weekly Pick & Stomp Concert Series at the Nashville Palace presented by Robert’s Western World. The first concert takes place Thursday, October 9 with opening act, Casey Campbell. Doors open at 6:30pm and the fun will continue until 11:00pm.  Attendees will certainly enjoy the tasty food, great music, authentic barn dance and pickin’ party!
Newton & Thomas are pleased to welcome the following entertainment with more to be announced soon.
  Thursday, October 16 - Chris Henry & The Hardcore Grass Band, Greg Garing
  Thursday, October 23 – Richard Smith, Thom Bresh
  Thursday, October 30 – Larry Cordle, Jenee Fleenor
  Thursday, November 6 – Tennessee Mafia Jug Band

“Steve and I are honored to host this new concert series and welcome fans of bluegrass and roots music. We think they will enjoy the laid back atmosphere and we certainly want them to feel like part of the family.  Pickers are welcome,” said Newton.

Newton and Thomas received significant chart success with their latest album, Reborn on the Pinecastle Records label.  The project includes numerous Top 5 singles like “Old McDonald Sold the Farm” that reached #1 numerous times on Bluegrass Today's Top 20 Song Chart. The lively and popular tune was also released as a music video that can be viewed on YouTube.
