Nashville, TN (October 3, 2014) – Warner Bros. Records’ Frankie Ballard has teamed up with Live Nation and Yahoo for the kick-off show of his first headlining run – LIGHT ‘EM UP TOUR – as part of the exclusive Live Nation Ones To Watch with Skype. The rising Country newcomer will offer a cutting-edge live stream of his concert in Minneapolis, MN, on October 16th, via the brand new Live Nation Channel on Yahoo Screen, a groundbreaking live music channel that will deliver one exclusive concert live stream a day and has featured popular artists such as Lady Antebellum, Dave Matthews Band. Fans that are unable to attend the show will have the freedom to stream the concert wherever they are HERE through Yahoo Screen on iOS, Android, mobile web, desktop and Smart TV platforms, including Apple TV, Roku and Xbox 360.

Ballard will fire up the crowd with his energetic, guitar-fueled set, including his Gold-certified, #1 smash, “Helluva Life” and current top-selling hit, “Sunshine & Whiskey,” which is on the verge of Top 10 at Country Radio. This dynamic tour, which taps today’s hottest emerging artists, will stop in 19-cities across the country and feature newly signed band A Thousand Horses as the opener.

Known for his energetic live shows, Ballard has caught the eye of many superstars and landed coveted opening slots for Jake Owen, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift and longtime idol Bob Seger.

Since releasing his first #1, GOLD-certified smash “Helluva Life,” Ballard has lit up the country music scene. The Battle Creek, MI, native continues the hot streak with his follow-up infectious anthem “Sunshine & Whiskey,” which has sold nearly 400,000 copies to date and shot to Top 10 on the iTunes Country Songs Chart. Both songs are featured on his latest album, SUNSHINE & WHISKEY, which debuted in the Top 5 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart, and ROLLING STONE noted as “required listening.” Produced by Marshall Altman (Marc Broussard), the project captures the newcomer’s unique blend of blues-infused, country rock and his undeniable guitar prowess on every song.
