KC JOHNS TO MAKE NATIONAL TELEVISION APPEARANCE ON JULY 28, 2011
Scheduled to perform at several locations in the Chicagoland area this week
(Nashville, TN – 07/26/2011) Mississippi based country music recording artist KC Johns will be making her first Chicagoland appearances later this week that include stops at WGN TV, RCC Western Store and Six Flags Great America.
On Thursday July 28, 2011, Johns will be performing her playful, summer song “Fishing In Daddy’s Pond” live on the WGN Midday news, the #1 midday news program in the country that broadcasts nationwide on WGN America.
Although Johns has performed several times on television, she says of her first national television appearance, “I'm very excited about the instant exposure that you get from performing on an outlet like the WGN Midday News. I'm looking forward to telling my fans about my new album and making new fans too with this performance.”
Later that same night at 6:00 PM (CST), Johns will be north of Chicago performing a 3-song acoustic set and signing copies of her sophomore album Carousel Ride at the RCC Western Store located in Gurnee, IL at 6170 Grand Ave # 625; Gurnee, IL 60031.
The afternoon of Friday July 29, 2011 Johns will be performing in Gurnee, IL again from noon-5:30 PM (CST) at Six Flags Great America, one of the largest and busiest amusement parks in the US.
