Tracey K. Houston launches the UK leg of her UK/European tour on July 7th with an appearance at the highly acclaimed Americana International Festival in Newark, England on Saturday, July 9th. This is the longest-running and largest music festival in England, with attendance in the vicinity of 65,000-70,000. There are over 50 acts on this festival (July 7th-10th) including USA artists Narvel Felts, James Intveld, Billy Yates, Johnny Powers, Stacie Collins, and Tracey K. Houston. Guitarist extraordinaire from Nashville, Chris Casello, will be appearing onstage with Tracey K. as well, playing guitar as well as performing a few selections of his own. She will also be sharing band members of James Intveld. James appears on Tracey K’s latest rockabilly album, Rockin’ Little Angel, on a song that he wrote, “Cryin’ Over You.” He plays piano and provides the harmony vocals.
From there she heads to Germany where she has many weeks of shows in several parts of the country. Supporting band will be East of Memphis, from Germany. Show dates are also planned for Austria, with pending dates in Poland and the Netherlands. Other dates to be announced.
