This September, Lonesome River Band will celebrate their 30th Anniversary entertaining audiences with their distinctive sound.  
 
LRB members have strong connections in the Carolinas.  Mike Hartgrove makes his home in Albermarle, NC and Sammy Shelor was born in North Carolina.

The 4th year of the Carolina Music Awards continues to the shine light on artists in the Carolinas in Rock, Hip Hop, Country and R&B.  This year they have have added Roberta Flack as a Co-Founder of the CM Awards joining Randy Travis among the legendary artists that support the CM Awards  Every year the organization makes their event more and more beneficial to Carolina artists and support the great music made in the Carolinas.
